Delete Account

Want to delete your account? Follow these steps:

  1. Open the MatchFlicks app
  2. Go to your profile
  3. Tap on "General Settings"
  4. Scroll down and select "Delete Profile"
  5. Confirm the deletion
Note: All your data will be permanently deleted. In groups where you are admin, a new admin will be automatically assigned.

Data Request (GDPR)

You have the right to request a copy of your stored data:

  1. Open the MatchFlicks app
  2. Go to your profile
  3. Tap on "General Settings"
  4. Select "Export Data"
  5. You will receive your data via email as a JSON file

The data request includes: profile data, preferences, liked movies, group memberships, and notifications.

Clear Cache

Having problems with the app? Try clearing the cache:

  1. Open the MatchFlicks app
  2. Go to "General Settings"
  3. Tap on "Clear Cache"
  4. Confirm the action

This clears all cached data and can help with performance issues.

Reset Dislikes

Want to see rejected movies again?

  1. Open "General Settings"
  2. Tap on "Reset Dislikes"
  3. Confirm the action
Note: All rejected movies will be removed from your history and can appear again in your queue.

Common Problems

App won't load

Check your internet connection and try clearing the cache.

No movies in queue

Make sure you have selected streaming providers and your region is correct.

Email code not arriving

Check your spam folder or try with a different email address.

Creating group doesn't work

Make sure you have a stable internet connection and try again.
