Terms of Service

1. Scope

These Terms govern the use of the MatchFlicks App (the “App”). By registering or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

2. Account and Registration

Sign‑in takes place via email code or optionally via Google/Apple (OAuth). Your account is personal and non‑transferable. You may delete your account at any time in the App settings.

3. Acceptable Use

Use of the App is permitted only in compliance with applicable law and for private, non‑commercial purposes. Prohibited are, inter alia, unlawful, harassing, abusive or security‑threatening activities.

4. Content and Groups

Your content (e.g., likes/dislikes) and groups are generally visible only to group members. You are responsible for content you submit or share and must respect third‑party rights.

5. Content sources and rights

Movie information is obtained from publicly available sources (e.g., TMDB) and is displayed solely within the App; no personal data are transmitted to such services. Posters/trailers etc. remain with their respective rights holders.

6. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted use. We may modify content/features or temporarily suspend them at any time.

7. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence. In cases of slight negligence, we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations and limited to the foreseeable, typical damage.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may amend these Terms with effect for the future. We will inform you of material changes in the App or by email.

9. Termination and Contact

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms. Contact: info@matchflicks.app.
